Shooting at Sandy Airbnb leaves woman injured, police investigating

Airbnb provided this comment to 2News about the Sandy incident:

The senseless violence reported has no place in the Airbnb community, and we have removed the booking guest from our platform. We are in touch with our host to initiate a claim through our $1 Million Host Guarantee and stand ready to assist Sandy Police in their investigation.

Police in Sandy are investigating an early morning shooting at an Airbnb location in Sandy.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday, police say a fight broke out in the front yard during a large party at 2321 E Willow View Dr.

Police say during the fight multiple shots were fired from both sides.

One woman was shot and has non-life-threatening injuries.

A 2News viewer, who wished to remain anonymous, sent us Ring doorbell footage, in which you can hear multiple shots fired.
