Prohibited Pandemic Party In San Diego Reportedly Ends With Shots Fired

San Diego Police were investigating reports of shots fired during a prohibited pandemic party in downtown San Diego early Monday, police said. Officers responded to the Pinnacle on the Park apartment high-rise in the city’s downtown area at 5:04 a.m. in response to several calls of gunfire, police said. Cops later confirmed a fight broke out, but they did not find any immediate evidence that a firearm had been discharged. “During the fight, there (were) reports of shots being fired. We haven’t located any evidence of the there being any shots fired, at this time. So far we don’t have any reports of any gunshot victims,” San Diego Police said in a statement to the Daily News. “There were a few injured during the fight. We are still at the scene investigating,” police said. A reporter at the scene said the unit where the alleged party took place may have been a short-term Airbnb rental.
