
Man Dead After 5 People Shot During Gathering At Daily Rental House In Saginaw
A 29-year-old Saginaw man died of his injuries early Monday morning after he and four others were shot at a house party. Saginaw Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Randolph Street to a report that multiple people had been shot at approximately 1:45 a.m. on May 3, according to a Saginaw Police Department news release. Officers located five individuals suffering from at least one gunshot wound each. Officers and MMR paramedics administered life-saving measures, however the man died from his injury, the release states. The name of the deceased victim is not being released at this time pending notification of family. A 27-year-old man, a 28-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman all suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds, the release states. The Saginaw Police Major Crimes Unit and Michigan State Police are investigating the shooting. The home was being operated like a daily rental spot or a “Facebook party house,” according to Detective Sgt. Matthew Gerow.
