Four Shot During Party At Vacation Rental Home In Happy Valley, Authorities Say

Four young people ages 17 to 20 were shot during a party early Thursday at a vacation rental home in Happy Valley, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to reports of a shooting at 9221 S.E. Idleman Road, just east of Interstate 205, about 12:30 a.m. and found about 20 to 30 people at the party. They broke up the crowd and discovered a man inside the house with a gunshot wound to the chest, sheriff’s officials said in a statement. Deputies applied a chest seal to the bullet hole and the man was taken by ambulance to a hospital. He is expected to survive, as are the other three victims – two men and a woman – who made it to hospitals on their own, the Sheriff’s Office said. A suspect remains at large, sheriff’s officials said.
