AirBnB Party May Be Connected To Baltimore Shooting

Baltimore Police are looking into whether a weekend AirBnB party is linked to a triple shooting in Baltimore’s Pigtown neighborhood. Officers were called to Scott Street just after 11:30 p.m. September 20. There police say the officers found three men, all in their 20’s, with gunshot wounds. What led up to the shooting is under investigation. Police say they’re looking into whether an advertised ‘AirBnB Trap House Party’ has any connection. A spokesperson with the department wrote in part, “The Department is aware of the flyer and the potential connectivity of this shooting,” One neighbor told FOX45 they called and complained about the noise level. Unauthorized parties at AirBnB listings have been aggravated by the pandemic, with fewer places for people to go and at the same time a decrease in rental demand. “It’s happening all over the place. That’s what the cops are telling us,” said another neighbor.
