Airbnb party leads to two arrests

ROCKFORD,Ill (WIFR)– A noise complaint led to the recovery of four guns after Rockford Police arrived at the loud party at 1004 North Main St.

According to a release from the Rockford Police Department, the officers detained more than 15 attendees.

“A consensual search of the apartment was conducted,” the release said. “Officers recovered four guns, including one which had previously been reported as stolen.”

Two attendees walked out of the party with charges.

Jordan Thomas, 20, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after officers spotted a loaded rifle in his vehicle.

Robert Colemon, 19, was charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer and obstructing identification after “a brief struggle” with officers.
