2 Killed, 2 Teens Injured After Gunmen Ambush Party At Airbnb
Atlanta police officers are searching for at least two gunmen after a deadly shooting during a party at an Airbnb. Channel 2 Action News was there as police investigated the scene near the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Lester Street overnight Friday. Atlanta Police Homicide Commander Pete Melecki said officers were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. One of the surviving victims told police that the group were in a rideshare vehicle arriving at the home on the 100 block of Sunset Avenue when they were ambushed by at least two gunmen. Police continue to search for suspects and a motive. There are multiple surveillance cameras on the home. Neighbors said Airbnb needs to do a better job of scrutinizing who they allow to use their service.
